Microsoft told to pay Uniloc in patent infringement case
Microsoft has lost a patent battle and has been asked to pay $388 million in damages to Uniloc Inc.
Uniloc specializes in developing technologies aimed at preventing piracy of software applications.
The company had claimed that Microsoft was infringing on their patents in Windows XP and some Office programs.
