Ubuntu developers have revealed security issues in three editions:
Ubuntu 6.06 LTS,
Ubuntu 7.10,
Ubuntu 8.04 LTS
The problems also affect the corresponding versions of Kubuntu, Edubuntu, and Xubuntu.
They are suggesting the users of these editions to upgrade some specific components.

Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (Hardy Heron) can be pre-ordered now through Ubuntu’s Ship It service.
The distribution is yet not released. The developers are planning to launch it sometime next week.
