Oracle contributes data-integrity protection code to Linux code
Database industry giant Oracle has contributed data-integrity protection code which was developed in collaboration with hardware vendor Emulex to the Linux kernel.
The company said that this code would decrease the possibility that erroneous data will get written to disk.
