CS Odessa publicly unveils the newly developed InGyre Technology as a core part of the ConceptDraw Office. InGyre Technology enables users to rapidly represent tasks, resources, and status information at any stage of business processes, in an optimal visual manner for each participant - depending on their role. Users can decide which application within the suite is most appropriate and any changes made to project data in one application are automatically integrated with the other products.

Odessa, Ukraine - CS Odessa publicly unveils the newly developed InGyre Technology as a core part of the ConceptDraw Office. This brand new business productivity software suite is aimed to help managers take control of projects, participants, and resources in businesses of any size. InGyre Technology enables users to rapidly represent tasks, resources, and status information at any stage of business processes, in an optimal visual manner for each participant - depending on their role.

InGyre Technology introduces the capability of working from single files, using project management tool ConceptDraw PROJECT, along with visual mapping software ConceptDraw MINDMAP. Depending on the tasks that need to be resolved, users can decide which application within the suite is most appropriate. Any changes made to project data in one application are automatically integrated with the other products.

The ease of building visual documentation, that reflects actual work progress, is a major task that InGyre Technology was developed to support. InGyre easily assists in the creation of visual dashboards and reports that represent key indicators of work progress, from either project files or a set of selected tasks. It also quickly transforms task outlines into professional looking Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) charts. All project documents are editable by using ConceptDraw PRO.

Possibilities utilizing InGyre Technology begin with brainstorming project ideas, using whiteboard views and organizing results into highly informative mind maps. At the next phase, information is developed into detailed project plans with Gantt Charts and visual performance dashboards. Managers can then balance resource loads using the Resource Usage view, or send task lists to team participants in the form of mind maps.

Gregory Zhukov, Chief Executive Officer of CS Odessa states, “The result of our 15 years experience in developing market leading business applications, data visualization technologies, and our collective knowledge in project management has contributed to the development of InGyre Technology. Every person involved in any business can now retrieve necessary information in its most convenient form with little or no effort. InGyre Technology gives our users the tools they need to build an effective communication process that is intuitive for managers, stakeholders and team participants.”

Gregory further comments, “InGyre Technology is unique in its ability to share data in such a transparent manner on both the PC and Macintosh. Our three leading products ConceptDraw PRO, ConceptDraw MINDMAP and ConceptDraw PROJECT, with the release of ConceptDraw Office, will support this ability to use and reuse data intelligently.
Transcena Design, makers of OfficeTime, the Mac time tracker with iCal synchronization, believes their product is so easy to use they are doubling their 60-day Money-back Guarantee to a full 120-days. OfficeTime’s latest version 1.3.1 offers over 20 new features and is available for both Mac and Windows machines. An added bonus is data can be moved seamlessly between both platforms.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada - Transcena Design, makers of OfficeTime, the Mac time tracker with iCal synchronization, believes their product is so easy to use they are doubling their 60-day Money-back Guarantee to a full 120-days.

Now, in addition to the fully activated 21-day free trial, you can buy with confidence knowing you have an extended “120-day No-Hassles, Any-Reason, Money-Back Guarantee.” This allows you up to 4 monthly billing cycles, to fully integrate the features of this business tool into the workday, without an investment risk.

OfficeTime’s community of users recognizes its ease of use for getting up and running quickly, but its ability to increase billables is part of what keeps people hooked.

“OfficeTime helps me justify any extra fees to clients, it allows me to document everything that was done, and if it wasn’t within scope, it becomes a contingency fee, “states Sigrid Albert, B.Des., MGDC and Principal of StepUp Communications Inc. “So I would definitely say my billings have increased since I started using OfficeTime. And my time planning and estimating has become much more accurate and efficient.”

And until June 1, 2008, you can get OfficeTime for only $39.95 before a price increase to $47. The extended 120-day guarantee is, of course, available immediately.

“I downloaded the demo and thought, “it probably won’t work for me but I gotta give it a shot,” announced Glen Page, the Technology Systems Administrator of ThetNet for Thetford Academy. “The software was very easy to set up and begin using. I love the synchronization with iCal and the ease of use.”

How can Transcena Design afford such a guarantee? Well, they have only had one return so far this year.

Maybe that’s because OfficeTime’s development team listens to their community and then responds. They have already released hundreds of free improvements, based on suggestions from the user community. And all 1.x releases are given away free to every current owner.

OfficeTime’s latest version 1.3.1 offers over 20 new features and is available for both Mac and Windows machines. An added bonus is data can be moved seamlessly between both platforms.

Find out why teams, consultants and freelancers rely on OfficeTime’s ease of use: intuitive reporting, quick invoicing, and full Leopard compatibility. It just works. Intuitively and easily.

Purchase: $39.95 (until June 1, 2008, when price becomes $47) with a 120-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Mac User Groups may contact OfficeTime for further discounts. Journalists, newsletter publishers, bloggers and others: Get a working version of OfficeTime and feel free to reprint any of our Tip of the Day items, with an agreement to review our product and include order information.

Transcena Design Inc., a busy web and applications development firm, needed to track its employees’ time. When they couldn’t find a full featured, easy to use tracking application, this 17-year old agency (with a zest for clean design and usable interfaces), decided to build the OfficeTime time tracking application, a time-tracker based on real-world business needs.

Verizon Wireless has now become the first major US telecom company to support the LiMo Foundation.

LiMo Foundation is supported by tech giants including Motorola, NTT DoCoMo, Panasonic, NEC and Samsung.

It is one of the major alternatives to Google Android platform which uses Linux for mobile devices.

LiMo foundation is also set to announce some other high profile members joining the group. These are: Mozilla, SK Telecom, Infineon Technologies, Red Bend Software, Sagem Mobiles, SFR and Kvaleberg AS.

Linux is increasingly becoming a viable platform for mobile devices. With companies like Google working towards making this a reality, Microsoft has a real challenge on their hands.
