Goolag Scan launched by Cult of the Dead Cow

Cult of the Dead Cow was a well known name a couple of years ago for their software utility which showcased the weakness of the Windows operating system.

The group has bounced back with a new product which they have named Goolag Scan.

The developers said that the tool has been designed to use Google to find sensitive information such as passwords or server vulnerabilities on web sites on the internet.

The tool would make it possible for regular web users to find out vulnerabilities and sensitive information online.

The group said that the tool would become a good resource for web administrators to check the security of their own network of sites.

CDC spokesperson Oxblood Ruffin spoke about this product launch: “It’s no big secret that the Web is the platform, and this platform pretty much sucks from a security perspective. We’ve seen some pretty scary holes through random tests with the scanner in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. If I were a government, a large corporation, or anyone with a large website, I’d be downloading this beast and aiming it at my site yesterday.”
