Windows Media Player 11 final is out
Microsoft has released the final edition of its popular media playing application Windows Media Player.
The latest version now is Windows Media Player 11 and it is available as a free download from the company’s website.
This application had been going under beta testing since quiet sometime. WMP 11 supports the Windows XP operating system. Windows Vista would come preloaded with this software.
Windows Media Player 11 comes with integrated support for Urge, a subscription music service Microsoft developed in collaboration with MTV.
The release of Windows Media Player 11 comes just days after the launch of Internet Explorer 7. Both these applications would be integral part of the Vista operating system due for launch early next year.
The company is also due to come out with their Zune digital music playing device next month.
