Blogging from inside Yahoo! Messenger 7 Beta

Yahoo! just launched the beta of their instant messenger client, the Yahoo! Messenger. The beta is geared to bring voice support to the messenger to give VoIP capabilities to the messenger along with integration with the various Yahoo! services. And the recently launched Yahoo! 360 Blogging system is one of those merged services.

I am not exactly a Yahoo! 360 fan but what I liked about this integration is that I can directly Blog on the Yahoo! 360 from inside Yahoo! Messenger… this is interesting because MSN still has not provided similar functionality in their MSN Messenger. The convenience might just attract users away from MSN Spaces to Yahoo! 360.

However, if you are like me and have been blogging since a long time on a particular service… there is little these companies can do to get hard-core bloggers to Blog on their system. Especially when neither MSN Spaces nor Yahoo! 360 provides option to import Blog content from other systems.
