What would be different in the Microsoft Antivirus?

As I get to read more and more about Microsoft’s reportedly upcoming Antivirus, the more ambitious I become of its capabilities. First, it depends more upon behaviors of the suspicious virus like activity… so it can possibly take care of updated viral codes. It is technically being referred to as an “Intrusion Detection and Protection System”! Sounds cool…
Another interesting reported feature is something not seen in regular applications. It is supposed to communicate with other clients running in the same network (or possibly internet someday!) and get possible symptoms from those machines through a secure channel. So, it kinda works like a small time AI mechanism… Learn, guess and then share. The software hence gets smarter and smarter thus becoming more and more powerful.
IF only Microsoft does not screw it and make it a bloat that instead of securing Windows becomes just another piece of junk! Their firewall though works is nothing compared to free offerings in the market!
