Tata Consultancy Services partners with SAP
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced that they are joining German software major SAP AG’s SAP global partner-services programme.
This would see them becoming a partner for the global enterprise resource planning major’s services across the world.
The deal with SAP makes TCS the first Asian consulting company to have a tie-up with SAP and this deal would see them invest in joint marketing resources and strategic planning.
The two companies would be developing a range of services, which would address specific customer pain points across many different industries and markets.
N Chandrasekaran, head of global sales and operations, TCS spoke to the media on this development: “We see tremendous opportunity to help customers in adoption of enterprise service oriented architecture (SOA) for growth. This global partnership will also help drive customer upgrades to mySAP ERP in target verticals, using TCS’s innovation labs to build and showcase solution accelerators and composites. We are also pleased to announce that we are now a member of the enterprise services community and already have some of our assets in government and manufacturing verticals on the SAP NetWeaver platform.â€
