Microsoft adds Ultimate edition to MS Office 2007
Software Company Microsoft has said that they are adding another variant to the already announced lineup of the upcoming office suite update MS Office 2007.
The company said that the newly added MS Office Ultimate edition has been added on customer feedback who wanted this package.
This newly added Office edition would sell for $679 in retail channels and would include all the various applications scheduled to ship within Office Enterprise 2007. The enterprise edition was designed for their volume license customers.
Office Ultimate will sell in the retail market and would be available for any interested customer.
Microsoft said in a statement on this new addition to their Office 2007 lineup: “Based on customer feedback received, we understand that some people working at home need to have access to the full line-up of 2007 Microsoft Office applications so they can create, find, manage and share information across boundaries using the toolset they’re familiar with at the officeâ€.
The software giant is scheduled to ship MS Office 2007 sometime early next year along with the much-awaited Windows Vista operating system.
