Mozilla Firefox 2 Alpha 3 is out
Open Source foundation Mozilla has launched the latest alpha release of their upcoming Mozilla Firefox web browser.
The latest preview version is now Firefox 2 Alpha 3 and it brings new feature editions to this open source web browser.
Mozilla is now using a new installer package for the Windows package. They are now trying out open source package NSIS (Nullsoft Scriptable Installing System) for shipping out the Mozilla Firefox 2 Alpha 3 package.
Firefox 2 Alpha 3 now comes with built in anti phishing protection, which alerts the user if he is viewing a known fake website. Users are free to chose their preferred database or maintain a list of their own.
Search Suggestion feature has now been improved as old searches are shown above the guessed search keywords by the browser. Overall, it is a nice update as the foundation progresses towards the second major release of this popular web browser.
