Windows Vista might see another delay

Apparently, Microsoft had originally planned to ship the Windows Vista operating system way back in 2003. We have come a long way and we still have no idea on whether Microsoft would be able to ship out Vista by the current promised period which lies in the month of January next year.

They have just released the second beta of Vista and are looking for extensive testing from their beta testers.

The latest incoming news is that the company has expressed fears that they might have to push the launch even further if major flaws are detected in the latest test releases.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer said in a statement: “We are on track for shipping early in the year.” But the release could be pushed back a few weeks.”

The software giant is scheduled to ship the business version of Vista in November this year. They would have to work hard to make that deadline.
