Google now supporting voice and video chat on Linux

Google has finally updated their web based talk service to support voice and video chat on Linux.

The service has been available on both Windows and Mac OS X for a long time now.

The company has finally released a plug-in for Linux that makes it work from inside Gmail.

The service is compatible with Ubuntu and other Debian-based Linux distributions. They are working on adding support for RPM in the near future.
