eBay in talks with Google to allow PayPal payments on Android
Industry sources are reporting that eBay is in talks with Google to allow Android users to pay for Android apps using PayPal.
Currently, Android accept payments through Google Checkout platform which is sort of a PayPal rival.
Some mobile service providers are also allowing users to pay for apps through their mobile bills.
Support for PayPal would be a welcome addition as it is widely used around the world.
It remains to be seen if Google would accept PayPal as a payment mode on Android Market. eBay does not allow Google Checkout on their own service!
