Fotopedia Heritage available as a free download for Apple iPhone and iPad
Fotopedia has launched a free app for the owners of Apple iPhone and iPad. (Download)
They call it Fotopedia Heritage and it has been developed in collaboration with the UNESCO World Heritage Centre.
The app provides access to 20000 photos which are related to 890 World Heritage Sites and 3000 points of interests.
The basic idea is to make these photos accessible through a mobile app.

Essentially, you can use this app to go through all the cool stuff they have on offer. It is fetched from the web so you do not need to store them locally.
The developers spoke about this app:
Explore our heritage deeper and deeper navigating carefully chosen tags, learn more about each place reading rich descriptions from UNESCO and Wikipedia and browse an interactive map, localize precisely each site, and if you are planning a trip, you will be just one click away from TripAdvisor travel information for the World Heritage Sites you are interested in.
