Kaspersky launches Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 and Internet Security 6.0
Security application developers Kaspersky Lab have launched the latest versions of their security applications in the market. These latest products are aimed for both the consumer and business community.
The company has released Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 and Internet Security 6.0. These two applications retails for $59.95 and $79.95 respectively. They are already available for download online and would soon be available in computer stores. These Kaspersky products would be available for sale at Comp USA, Office Depot, Fry’s and J&R Electronics.
The Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 suite comes with new features: a personal firewall and an anti-spam feature. The first one controls data that is sent from the users PC to any other network including Internet, intranet and trusted networks while the latter uses Bayes algorithm to analyze mails.
Steve Orenberg, president of Kaspersky Lab said in a statement on these new product launches: “The rapid evolution of Internet crime requires a new class of solutions that can effectively detect and quickly respond to these new, sophisticated threats.â€
