Palm webOS 2 to arrive this year!
HP has revealed that they are on track to release the second generation of webOS mobile platform this year.
The company recently acquired Palm which originally developed the webOS mobile platform.
Palm failed to do much with it as they simply could not compete in the US market against Apple iPhone and Google Android.
However, with HP as the parent company… They have all the resources in the world to develop new products based on webOS.
HP has already stated that they have big plans for webOS. There are reports that webOS might power their consumer oriented Tablet PCs in addition to new smartphones and some other consumer electronic devices as well.
