Spry: Adobe to release Ajax framework

Adobe Systems has said that they would soon be releasing the free pre-release version of an AJAX framework called Spry.

This would help the web developers to create applications in Ajax much more easily than ever before.

This new framework is basically a HTML-centric platform and features a JavaScript library specifically oriented to Web designers.

Spry was developed at the Adobe Labs and the initial release would feature data capabilities to incorporate XML into HTML documents using HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, and JavaScript.

Jennifer Taylor, senior product manager for Adobe’s Dreamweaver products said in a statement: “It’s very lightweight and flexible. This was built out of a need we identified in the marketplace.”

Developers would be able to use this framework with Dreamweaver as well as other web authoring tools.
