Google Android 3.0 to be optimized for large screen devices
Online sources are indicating that Google is planning to make some major updates with the next edition of Android.
Google has just finished development work on Android 2.2 and it is being released for different smartphones.
Android 3 is likely to arrive before the end of the year.
Online reports say that Google Android 3 would be optimized for large screen devices aka Table PCs.
Google is also likely to go for a user interface overhaul. There have been reports that Google wants to make the default interface so good that their partners would not want to install their own themes on it.
Android is already being offered on some Tablet PC devices but an official optimized edition would do wonders for this mobile platform which is the stronger challenger to the dominating iOS.
