Google integrates Google Calendar with Gmail
Search engine giant Google launched their latest offensive at Microsoft by launching Google Calendar web application. People have lauded this new product from the company, which has indeed surprised all Google critics with its super functionality.
The company has now gone a step ahead and integrated their web mail service Gmail with Google Calendar. However, this feature integration would take a couple of days before it is made available for all Gmail users. We at TechWhack have already got our Gmail account updated with the integrated Calendar service.
There is a new bar at the top left of the Gmail service similar to Google Calendar which enables you to access the popular Google services including the search engine, web mail and the calendar.

Mails which include event information and calendar invites are already detected by the system and users are given an option to add the information in their Google Calendar. Now, they can also generate event invites directly from inside Google Gmail.
While composing a new message in Gmail, users are given a new option called ‘Add Event Info’. Clicking this link enables them to integrate a Google Calendar event into their mails. People receiving this mail gets this information as an invite when they can decide whether they will attend, might attend, or will not attend the event.

Overall, Google has been working on user feedback and this is very good news for Gmail and Google Calendar users.
