Intuit Inc. to develop health care products
Intuit Inc. is well known in the software market for their products like Quicken and TurboTax. The company has now said that they would be developing software for the health market in collaboration with health care companies.
These products are targeted at the American customers who would be able to manage their health records and health care through this facility. These new products would be released under the Quicken-brand and are slated to be released sometime next year.
It would allow the users to track and organize information such as medical bills and insurance data. The application would consolidate reams of information, making it accessible also through the Internet. However, they would need a lot of support from the medical industry to make it a success.
The company hopes to recruit additional health care partners in coming months to try to make this product a one-stop health care resource for consumers.
