Google updates Google Toolbar for Mozilla Firefox
Search engine giants Google have launched an updated version of their browser toolbar add-on for the open source application Mozilla Firefox.
This is the second major release of their toolbar for the Firefox web browser and come just a couple of weeks after the company updated the toolbar for the Internet Explorer web browser.
This toolbar is currently in beta stage and mimics some of the newly introduced functions of the Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer.
The updated Google Toolbar 2 for Firefox brings support for RSS Feeds and provides easier access to previous search queries, and suggestions for popular choices from search results.
Google Gmail users can now use Gmail as their primary mail application using the Firefox browser. The company has also added a “safe-browsing” extension to combat fishing and providing the consumer a safer working environment.
