Xobni for BlackBerry launched
Xobni has finally launched their mobile app for the Blackberry platform.
It is integrated with the email service on the Blackberry and works similarly to the plug-in they provide for the Microsoft Outlook program.
Contacts are ranked by importance enabling you to stay connected with your collegues.
It also pulls in data from social networks like LinkedIn and Facebook to keep you updated.
Xobni has also launched a new service named Xobni One. Xobni One is designed to keep all the data synced between Microsoft Outlook and BlackBerry. It works through the cloud. It has been priced at USD 4 a month or USD 40 per year.
Considering Google already offers such a service for their Android platform… It remains to be seen if this is going to work out in the longer term. Blackberry just might offer a similar functionality on their platform for free in the future.
