Toogle: Google Image Search in Textual Way
Google has become a synonymous with Internet Searching. It has also become a verb with all those talks about Googling this and Googling that. But the truth remains; Google is the best thing to happen to Internet Searching in years. And it does great at what it is supposed to do.
There have been many side products (or web tools) that use Google’s technology to provide some leet utilities to people. Toogle is another one of them. It calls itself as “The most comprehensive image buggery on the web”. It provides a very Google like interface (though the Author says, it in the lighthearted way and not to offend anyone) and let the user to search for a term. The result is not the routine Google Image search… But the engine churns out ASCII rendering of the first result that Google Images Search Engine would have produced. And that too in color! Definitely very cool.
A test result? A search for iPod produced this image:

Excellent work.
I just tried this Toogle website and it wouldn’t work-
do you think Google possibly sued the Toogle company?
If you hear anything about that, let me know
