United States Army gets its own Apple iPhone app
The White House has already announced the launch of its mobile app. Now US Army has made available its own mobile app on the Apple App Store.
This new mobile app is now available as a free download for iPhone and iPod Touch.
It enables the mobile user to get easy access to the US Army website, blogs, podcasts.
The coolest feature perhaps is the kind of data that is accessible through this app. You can check out the various kinds of weaponry used by the US Army and so on.
Let’s hope US government does not stay focused on just the iPhone platform and launch similar apps for other popular mobile platforms.
