Microsoft Office 2010 pricing announced

Microsoft has finally revealed the pricing structure of their upcoming update to Microsoft Office productivity suite.

The company said that MS Office 2010 would sell in several editions priced between USD 99 and USD 499.

Microsoft Office Home and Student Edition would retail for USD 149. This package includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote.

Microsoft would sell a product key card for USD 119 for machines that comes preloaded with a trial edition of Office 2010.

Microsoft Office Professional Academic would be sold to students and teachers for just USD 99. It would include Microsoft Outlook, Publisher and Access.

Microsoft Office Home and Business with Outlook would cost USD 297 for boxed edition. The product key card for this edition would cost USD 199.

Microsoft Office Professional would retail for USD 499 for the boxed edition and USD 249 for the product key card.
