Net Applications: Google Chrome overtakes Apple Safari

Net Applications has revealed in their latest statistic report that Google Chrome has now become the third most popular web browser on the web.

Internet Explorer remains the market leader followed by Mozilla Firefox.

Chrome has overtaken Apple Safari to take the third spot.

Google recently released beta editions of Chrome for Mac OS X and Linux. This might have helped them gain some extra users in the market.

The report further stated that Apple Phone OS now has a 0.43 percent market share in terms of operating system.
