Windows 7 market-share is now bigger than Mac OS X

Market analysts have reported that Windows 7 has gained enough market share to overtake Mac OS X.

In fact, Windows 7 is now used by more users than customers of all the versions of Mac OS X.

Net Applications said in a statement: “It’s safe to say that Windows 7′s daily share did peak above Mac’s weekly share.”

The shares of these two operating system is pretty close and the rankings might fluctuate for a couple of days or weeks. But it would not take long for it to permanently overtake Mac OS X.

Windows 7 was launched last month and is being offered on all new computers by PC manufacturers around the world.
