Google Reader can now display favicon of subscribed sites

Google Reader team has announced that they are adding a new optional feature that would display favicons of the subscribed sites.

Google Reader developers said that this was one of the most demanded features from the users of the service.

They have made it an optional setting thankfully as for some users it can become quite irritating to see hundreds of different images connected to their feeds.

Google said: “We realize that not everyone wants their subscription list to turn into a multi-colored extravaganza, so we’ve made it into a setting that you can access from your subscriptions menu.”
