Microsoft showcases business edition preview of Vista

Microsoft is the world’s largest maker of computer software and the company is due to launch their latest operating system product Windows Vista later this year. We have seen a couple of preview launches from the company and the latest one is also aimed at the business users of the company who might be willing to upgrade to Vista as soon as it is launched.

The company has also said that this latest preview is ‘feature complete’ which means that most of the anticipated features of the final version are present in some form or the other in this preview release.

Microsoft is testing this latest preview release with as many as 500,000 customers worldwide. The company also claims that Vista will make it easier and less expensive for firms to keep their computer networks secure. It brings safer browsing on the net with a more capable Internet Explorer and the integrated firewall capabilities have been enhanced as well.

Vista would be the most delayed Operating System product in the company’s history and market analysts are already worried on whether the customers would be willing to upgrade their systems to Vista considering XP itself is a very capable operating system.
