Google Page Creator is Live!
Google launches yet another free service without much fanfare. It has become usual for the company to come out with innovative online services, which betters the job done by hundreds of other websites for years. It started with Google Search Engine, and they followed it with the awesome Google Gmail.
The latest attempt by the Google is to make it easier for their users to get a simple webpage/website on the internet. Reminds me of a modern day Tripod/Geocities alternative. They are providing 100 megs of free hosting along with highly interactive designing tools, which are of course, not compatible with our favorite Opera Browser.
The page design interface is powered with AJAX technology, which makes it very easy to change/modify the content on the web pages. They are also offering multiple themes to help the users have a different looking layout for themselves. A lot of flexibility is offered, as the user is also free to work in code view giving him more power over the display of the webpage.
If you always wanted to have an online webpage (like for your resume hosting or any other purpose), you should definitely check this service out! Nevertheless, be sure that you are using either Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.
