Joe Hewitt no longer working on Facebook iPhone App

Joe Hewitt is the individual behind the massively popular Facebook mobile app on the Apple iPhone platform.

He has just revealed that he is not going to work on this mobile app any longer. He has handed over the development process to other engineers working at Facebook.

Hewitt is now looking for new challenges. No other detail is currently available.

Hewitt has stated that he decided to stop working on the Facebook mobile app for iPhone because of the Apple review process which has been inconsistent since the very beginning. He is now working on a web based thing for Facebook. He did not reveal what he plans to work on next.
