Google offers cheaper storage options for Gmail and Picasa users!
Google has finally dropped the prices of additional storage that can be availed on Gmail and Picasa accounts.
You can now buy 20GB storage for just USD 5 a year.
They have more options available for users who need more. In fact, you can now get storage of up to 16TB!
Here are the price plans:
20 GB ($5.00 USD per year)
80 GB ($20.00 USD per year)
200 GB ($50.00 USD per year)
400 GB ($100.00 USD per year)
1 TB ($256.00 USD per year)
2 TB ($512.00 USD per year)
4 TB ($1,024.00 USD per year)
8 TB ($2,048.00 USD per year)
16 TB ($4,096.00 USD per year)
Looks like Google has no plans to offer a free Google Drive service in the near future! For sharing photos, Flickr is a much cheaper option at just around USD 25 per year for unlimited storage! The 5 dollar option is pretty good for heavy users of Gmail as they can get extra storage for pretty cheap.
