Google Latitude has new features: Location History & Alerts
Google has launched some new features in their Google Latitude geolocation service.
This makes Google Latitude even more capable and scary for the privacy fanatics.
These new features are: Location History and Alerts.
As the name suggest, Location History would store your locations on Google Maps. You can see your progress from one place to another if this feature is enabled.
Alerts would enable you to see if your friends are in your surrounding at any given time. This could turn out to be a very useful feature for friends and relatives if they are open to the idea of sharing their locations.
