Competition includes TechMeme, TweetMeme, Digg, Mixx, and others.
Splurb gather links from a variety of services and ranks them as per the popularity on other networks.
To appear on this network, a story has to become popular on at least two of the networks indexed by them.
Links are then sorted by popularity and text size is dependent upon the number of sources where it becomes popular.
