Apple App Store officially has 100,000 applications
Apple has announced that the Apple App Store now is home to more than 100,000 applications.
The company also said that the App Store has seen more than 2 billion downloads.
Both of these numbers are phenomenal and showcases the popularity of the iPhone and iPod Touch devices around the world.
The company said: “The App Store, now with over 100,000 applications available, is clearly a major differentiator for millions of iPhone and iPod touch customers around the world.”
Apple has sold more than 50 million devices which are capable of connecting to this store and download applications.
