Facebook launches a new section to promote peace!

Facebook has announced the launch of a new section on their service which is aimed to promote “peace by building technology that helps people better understand each other”.

This new section is accessible at peace.facebook.com.

As of now, this section has some graphs showcasing how Facebook is being used by citizens of countries in conflicts to communicate with each other.

Examples: India-Pakistan, Greece-Turkey, Albania-Serbia and Israel-Palestine

They are also looking for user suggestions to further improve this service.

    World peace 2.0 Facebook rocks I think this really could start a social movement on the planet this one being the biggest one by far

    Hope that you would promote inter-country peace as well, more countries are at war with themselves than outside their borders.
