eBay Apple iPhone App is a major success for the company
eBay has a free mobile application for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.
This application has turned out to be pretty successful for the company.
eBay CEO John Donahoe has claimed in a statement that the iPhone app was used by shoppers to purchase stuff worth more than $400 million!
And the items purchased from these devices include a Lamborghini and a Bentley!
He said: “The lines between mobile and fixed devices are beginning to blur. I may do my research on my laptop, but actually make my purchase on my mobile device.”
The company is now working on the next version of this mobile app which would add some more features and improve other functionalities.
