Microsoft releases Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool
Microsoft has released a software utility which can be used to burn the Windows 7 ISO file on to a DVD or a USB drive.
Burning an ISO file to a DVD is rather easy as many utilities are available in the market to do that. Some operating systems come with inbuilt applications for the same.
However, making an installer USB drive is a slightly complicated task and this app is designed to do exactly that.
Microsoft is offering a download only edition of Windows 7 from their store. When you purchase this edition, you get the ability to download the Windows 7 ISO file.
This app (Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool) can then be used to write it to a USB drive to use it to install the operating system on a computer.
