Apple fixes Mac problems with Video Display
Apple Computers have released a fix for the much reported problems with the display issued with the recently launched Intel powered Macintosh computers. The company released a patch for the Front Row software running on its new Intel-based iMac machines.
The update comes in the form of a patch to Apple’s Mac OS X operating system and updates the OS to version 10.4.5. Intel powered Mac users have also reported that the patches also fix issues with video tearing issues on Intel iMacs along with the audio echo issues on newer PowerBooks.
Mac Experts had claimed that the hardware issues reported on the recently launched Intel Macs were more likely to be a software issue considering they were specific to certain applications and Apple has proved them to be right.
The latest patches released by Apple include other changes specific to Intel iMac desktops and the now-shipping MacBook Pro notebook. The patches are available through the OS’s Software Update and are also available for download from the company’s website.
