Ubuntu 9.10 RC edition released
Canonical picked an interesting date to launch the release candidate edition of Ubuntu 9.10. It was launched on the same day Windows 7 was launched globally.
Ubuntu 9.10 RC edition is now available as a free download.
This release of Ubuntu Linux Distribution has been codenamed Karmic Koala.
Ubuntu developers are aiming to launch the final edition later this month.
Canonical releases a new version of Ubuntu after every six months. This new edition promises faster boot-up timings along with the new Ubuntu Software Center which makes it easier for the users to search for and install new applications.
