Apple Server Diagnostics 3X106 for servers released
Apple has made available a server diagnostic tool for Mac OS X Server Editions.
The company said that this tool is designed to test machines running Mac OS X Server 10.6 for hardware issues.
It checks for several hardware components including:
Boot ROM
Ethernet controller
Fan
Hard drive
Memory
Power supply
Processor
Sensor
USB ports
Video controller
The company said that this app is designed to be used with Snow Leopard server on the Xserve (Early 2009), Xserve (Early 2008), and Mac mini (Early 2009).
