Mozilla Labs announces Raindrop communications platform
A lot of companies are working on developing new technologies and platforms to make it easy to communicate and collaborate online. Google recently launched their Wave platform in limited preview. And now Mozilla has announced their Raindrop platform.
Raindrop is currently available through Mozilla Labs.
It is an open-source, experimental email and communication platform which is designed to enable the user to check out all his conversations in a single location.
Mozilla said in a statement that Raindrop is “an effort that starts by trying to understand today’s web of conversations, and aims to design an interface that helps people get a handle on their digital world.”
It has been developed by the people behind their Thunderbird email client and is currently available as a prototype.
