IBM Client for Smart Work launched in USA
IBM and Canonical have together launched their IBM Client for Smart Work solution in the US market.
It was already being offered in South Africa.
The two companies said that the demand for this product was strong in USA so they decided to launch it here.
The US edition of this package comes with a lot of goodies including:
Lotus Symphony,
Lotus Notes,
LotusLive iNotes,
LotusLive.com
It runs on Ubuntu.
The timing is perfect as Microsoft is all set to launch their Windows 7 operating system.
