Spotify on HTC Hero through 3
Sweden based music streaming service Spotify has announced that they are collaborating with British mobile operator 3 and HTC.
Spotify would be offered on HTC Hero smartphone in the UK market.
The service is already available as a mobile application on Apple iPhone and Google Android devices.
HTC Hero is of course powered by Google Android.
3 would start offering this new smartphone with Spotify from next month.
Charlotte Blanchard, Director of Products & Services at 3 spoke about this deal: “Spotify Mobile is a fantastic digital service which gives consumers the ability to enjoy and share music in an affordable way. As a first step we’ve built this service into an attractive, well-priced package with the HTC Hero. Over time our deal with Spotify will extend across a range of our products including Mobile Broadband.”
