Photobucket might be sold by MySpace
TechCrunch has reported that MySpace is close to spinning off their photo sharing service Photobucket.
They had acquired this service back in 2007. The price-tag was around USD 250 million.
Disney-backed Ontela is said to be the company interested in acquiring Photobucket.
MySpace never made much use of Photobucket. It remained an independent body. Content is not shared between the two services.
The original founders of Photobucket are no longer with the company having moved on to new ventures.
