More details on Google Chrome OS coming later today
TechCrunch reported about a leaked edition of Chrome web browser which is being designed for Chrome OS.
They showcased some screenshots and also posted a link to the leaked installer (deb file).
Google has now announced that they would talk about Chrome OS at a media event later today.
The event is named Front End Engineering Open House and it would also feature presentations on Google Maps.
Google Chrome OS is expected to be a special edition Linux with Chrome powered front end designed for netbooks and low cost computers.
