Mozilla launches plug-in checker for Firefox
Mozilla has launched a special page on their website which you can visit with Firefox to see if you have the latest versions of the popular plug-ins.
This service checks for some of the most used browser plug-ins including Adobe Flash, Microsoft Silverlight and others.
The aim is to make it easier for the user to check if they need to update any component of their web browser.
If the service finds any outdated plug-in, user is directed to the correct location to get the latest update.
The next edition of Firefox (Firefox 3.6) would come with an integrated tool to check for plug-ins.
The service works only with the Firefox web browser.
