Mac OS X Snow Leopard has a data wiping bug!
Apple has confirmed that Mac OS X Snow Leopard has a major bug that can result in data loss for the user.
The company said that in extremely rare cases, users can lose data if they log on to guest account.
Incidentally, almost all the reports are coming from users who migrated from Leopard to Snow Leopard edition.
Snow Leopard users are recommended to disable guest logging till the time a patch is made available by Apple.
