Muzu is a new rival to YouTube
Muzu is the latest web service which aims to take on Google owned video sharing service YouTube.
Muzu is currently offering thousands of hours of high-quality music videos in addition to episodes of television shows including The Tube and Top of the Pops.
The service is based in Ireland. They have deals in place with all the four major record labels (Universal, Sony BMG, Warner and EMI).
In addition, they are also working with thousands of independent labels to feature their content on their network.
The service claims: “What’s more, because each video is officially licensed and approved by the artist, you won’t have to trawl through reams of grainy, homemade knock-offs or live footage of your favourite band via a crappy three-megapixel camera phone to find the video you want.”
